What do goat’s milk, wedding nuptials, and chocolate have in common? Here’s the quick story.
Beekman 1802, the world’s biggest goat-milk skincare company, is hosting a 24-hour wedding event starting at 8 a.m. on June 26. They’re celebrating Pride Month with the Let Love Bloom Wedding Marathon.
In 2013, I played the part of Mr. Salt in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at the Home Made Theater in Saratoga Springs. The eccentric chocolatier, Willy Wonka, was portrayed by the multi-talented Alan Edstrom. Fast-forward a few years later, and I being officiating weddings. Alan joins Beekman 1802. We stay in touch. They create this unique wedding event. Alan calls me.
And that’s how chocolate brought me to Beekman 1802’s 24-hour Let Love Bloom Wedding Marathon.
